NBC’s new drama, The Playboy Club, has received mixed reviews from critics and fans alike. However, we were more than curious about the experiences of actual Bunnies who made the clubs so famous. In the article Speier’s mother describes the code of conduct in the club, how her $10,000 salary was more than she made as a teacher, and the types of clientele that frequented the club in Boston where she worked (e.g. businessmen, professors, and Harvard graduate students).
